NORMAN, Okla. — The Penn State Altoona men’s golf team was named an NCAA Division III All-Academic Team on Tuesday, July 30, when the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) announced its Outstanding Team Academic Awards.

This is the first time in program history that the Penn State Altoona men’s golf team has been recognized as an All-Academic Team by the GCAA.

A total of 240 schools across six divisions earned an Outstanding Team Academic Award from the GCAA. The Presidents Special Recognition category honors college golf teams with cumulative grade-point averages of 3.5 or higher during the 2023-24 season, and the All-Academic Team category recognizes those teams who compiled cumulative GPAs of 3.0 or higher in 2023-24.
